Desription
The PDS Information Portal subsystem is responsible for editing content and its distribution to a Web Server hosted in a cloud service. The website is built on CMS WORDPRESS. It consists of two logical components:
- Content Editor - a component that allows administrators/editors to edit the content and structure of the PDS Information Portal pages and publish them on the Server.
- Content Server - a component used to publish the content of the PDS Information Portal. This part of the portal is made available to end users as an HTML page making content available on the Internet.
The following is a description of the functionality of the PDS Information Portal made available to end users.
The page of the PDS Information Portal Subsystem - http://portal.geo.stat.gov.pl/ , is the starting point of the user's work with the PDS System, where the user will find links to applications of interest.

Description of user interface controls
The main device for operating the application is a computer mouse. It allows basic navigation and operation of the application functions. Control is intuitive and uncomplicated. All functions are activated by moving the mouse cursor over an appropriate icon and then pressing LPM. In order to move around the site, use the mouse roll, spinning it up or down, or the side slider.
